CinemaWorld is proud to announce the launch of the CinemaSHORT Asian ShortFilm Competition, a platform for emerging filmmakers to showcase their creativity and talent. The competition is open to all Asian filmmakers and invites submissions from both amateur and professional filmmakers.

As the name suggests, the competition focuses on short films with a maximum duration of 20 minutes. The aim of the competition is to promote and encourage emerging filmmakers in Asia, while also providing a platform for their work to be showcased to a wider audience.

Entries will be judged by a panel of esteemed professionals from the film industry, who will evaluate submissions based on their storytelling, creativity and originality, technical excellence, and overall impact. The shortlisted entries will be showcased on the CinemaSHORT platform through meWATCH as our Official Streamer and CubMu for our Indonesian viewers, offering the selected filmmakers an opportunity to reach a global audience.

In addition to the recognition and exposure gained from participating in the competition, the winning entries will also receive amazing prizes for their contribution to the world of cinema and the Asian film industry.
