Jen, a young adult, navigates the city on her way to work, reflecting on her dreams of a future apartment with her boyfriend, Jun. In reality, Jen’s boss, Jacob, catches her daydreaming and scolds her. Working at a local bar, Jen yearns to leave early for an exclusive club opening with Jun, but Jacob insists she finish her shift. Despite Jacob’s disapproval, Jun arrives at the bar to hurry Jen. Seizing an opportunity when Jacob is distracted, Jen sneaks out. As they head to the club, Jen realizes Jun may be leaving for good. Denied entry due to her attire, Jen witnesses Jun’s willingness to go without her, leading to a breakup. Lost in the city, Jen eventually returns to the closed bar, where a drunk Jacob reveals its imminent closure. Jen spends the night with him, leaving at dawn to face the awakening city.
