Jenny, aged 8, lives with her parents Sherin and David in a Hill station isolated from the city. One day Jenny finds herself a new friend named Jessie and starts hanging out every day to play with her. Sherin is concerned about this Mysterious new girl, her daughter has befriended since no child will travel this far from the city alone. Sherin talks about this to David who pays no heed to her concerns. Determine to find out who Jessie is, Sherin sneaks upon Jenny when she goes out to play with her friend and is shocked when she comes to know that Jessie is nothing but a Hallucination of Jenny. She confronts her husband about their daughter’s state and asks him to take her to a Doctor, but David still dismisses the matter. Hence, Sherin gives him an ultimatum – He could pay attention to their child’s state or it was divorced. Fed up with Sherin, David reveals a truth about their daughter that shakes Sherin to the core.
