Nhan – a mischievous boy who is currently at his school age. Today is the day Nhan gets his test result, sadly, he only has a three. He’s afraid that his mom would get upset about that and won’t buy him new toys anymore, Nhan has no other way but to lie to his mom. He manages how to turn a 3 into an 8 with the hope that he can fool his mom. Unfortunately, through a conversation with one of his classmates – Tai, he then finds out that his teacher has already informed his parents about his sub-par performance.

Again, worrying about the fact that his lie might be revealed, he has to find ways to hide the test result by all means. The only place he could find at the moment is under his mom’s plants. But then, Nhan can no longer lie to his mother as the plant is dying after being dug up. But mom doesn’t get mad with Nhan about that, at least, she thinks so, as she thought her son was actually sorry. She then forgives him and buys him new toys to keep her word.

Nhan thought everything was over, and he has got away with his lie successfully. The real surprise comes afterward on the weekend when his teacher called his mom. Only then does Nhan’s mom know about the fact that her son has been dishonest with her all this time.
